1933 Contemporary Art Space will be exhibiting Zane Mellupe, alongside Shao Wenhuan, Di Zhang and Shiying Xi, at the PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai 2016 International Photography fair.

1933 Contemporary Art Space was founded in 2011 with a commitment to presenting young artist from home and abroad in the form of exciting exhibitions and informative workshops. 1933 Contemporary Arts has an intention to represent and be involved in the occurence and development of contemporary Chinese and International art. Their annual program presents four to six major exhibitions, alongside exhibition catalogs and an extensive art publishing program to actively build an integrated platform for interaction with the public arts, art institutions and markets.

Zane Mellupe’s Solo Exhibition Entropy: Sending out an application for an N-sum, which explored the materiality of the world through the materiality of her photography medium, was a major plank in 1933 Contemporary Art Space’s 2016 art program.
